Elgar/Payne Symphony No. 3

Elgar left his third symphony unfinished at the time of his death. Compiled by Anthony Payne from Elgar's sketches this is a remarkable achievement, not sounding a pastiche in any way, but real Elgar. The public premiere was in 1998, and the work has taken its place in the repertoire, being performed regularly all over the world.
